1930 Bugatti Molsheim - Letter with Credit Note.
This is an original 1930 Ettore Bugatti Molsheim letter with credit note dated May 27, 1930.
The letter elaborates on the return of a number of parts and consequently a credit note (see image 2) for a total of 132.80 Francs.
The letter comes on paper with the large Bugatti "Radiator shield" logo watermarked across the top of the page and the "Ettore Bugatti" script logo watermarked across the bottom.
The letter is typewritten and is "signed" Ettore Bugatti" but the actual signature is from one of the secretaries.

1931 Bugatti Levallois-Perret - Invoice - 2.300 Liter engine.
This is an original 1931 Bugatti Invoice coming from the Levallois-Perret (Paris) workshop, dated October 8, 1931.
The invoice is for a number of parts (mainly water pump parts) for a 2.300 Liter engine (Type 35B, 35T, 43, 43A or 51).
The Levallois workshop was the factory-owned mainstay in Bugatti maintenance, repairs & parts supply for France.
1932 Ettore Bugatti Letter + Envelope.
This is an original 1932 Ettore Bugatti Molsheim letterhead.
This letter was sent on September 20, 1932 to a prospective client in the USA and relays that the London Sales Office has been instructed to forward sales literature in English to the good man.
The letter carries the salutation "P/ Ettore Bugatti" which stands for "Pour Ettore Bugatti" or "On behalf of Ettore Bugatti". It has been briefly signed by one of the secretaries.
The letter carries a large Bugatti logo as a watermark across the text (sorry, hardly visible in the scan) and a "Ettore Bugatti, Molsheim" watermark at the bottom.
It comes complete with the original envelope (a little soiled and damaged) which carries a 1932 Molsheim postmark.
A great period item!
1934 Bugatti Levallois-Perret - Payment Due Reminder.
This is an original 1934 Bugatti Invoice coming from the Levallois-Perret (Paris) workshop, dated September 6, 1934.
The letter comes from the accounting department and requests payment by return mail of the open invoices from May, June & July, amounting to a total of 4.680.35 Francs (quite a hefty sum when one considers that this concerns parts only...).

Roughly translated it says:

1938 Bugatti London Letter - Type 57 Inquiry.
This is an original 1938 Bugatti London letterhead.
It was sent on September 12, 1938 to a prospective client in the USA and explains about the then-current Type 57 and the upcoming changes for the 1939 season.
The second page also lists the prices for the bare chassis but in standard form and as Type 57.C and the prices for the three standard factory bodies (Ventoux, Stelvia and Galibier). With hindsight it is still amazing to see that the Galibier Saloon was the most expensive of the three and the exiting Ventoux the cheapest...
The letter is signed by (Colonel) W. Sorel of Automobiles Ettore Bugatti of Brixton Road, London, UK.

This is a 1956 Issue of the "publication" that elaborates on teh mecanical genius of Ettore Bugatti.
Originally issued in 1948 (1 year after Ettore's death), this was printed / stencilled in 1956 and mailed out on December 28, 1956 to a prospective buyer.
It also received the official Automobiles E. Bugatti stamp on the front.
4 Pages of each some 20 x 30 cm or 8 x 12 inches.
