1956 Authentic Bugatti Type 251 Valve Spring.
This is an autnetic valve spring, produced at Molsheim, for the ill-fated Bugatti 251 Grand Prix car.
It comes packaged in a plastic bag with a header card from the Bugatti Owners Club which states, amongst others the following:
"Production was geared to a run of eight cars and this hairpin valve spring (authenticated as a genuine Bugatti part by the Bugatti Owners Club) is a souvenir of the very last Bugatti."
It comes complete with a factory test tag of the tested spring load in KG.

This is a vintage 1960 Bugatti Owners Club Christmas Card from 1960 (sent out with the best wishes for 1961...), signed "Jack & Rose".
The front shows the Bugatti T59 (Chassis 59124) while owned by Francis H. Ludington of Pelham Manor, NY, USA.
